Duke & the Peacemakers bring a revival to old school blues, funk, and country in the way that gets your legs shaking! From an idea that Cole Murphy-Hopp, Jacob Whittle, and Jacob Brassington had three years ago until the six piece band that is now, there’s been a lot of changes. The one thing that hasn’t changed is a passion for music from the days of old. Taking heavy influence from artists like hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, the meters, James Brown, Glen Miller, Count Basie, and The Ink Spots, there’s not much that won’t get you moving.

From the heart of the Edmonton music scene they have played all over the province from Calgary to Ft. McMurray and opened for touring bands by the likes of Cat Clyde, and Jeremie Albino. If these folks can’t get you moving, then you just weren’t meant to!
